Homemade GAK! 2 recipes (both the starch and borax versions)
Skip to my Lou just posted an article on making your own Gak with equal parts of white glue and liquid starch (and a bit of food coloring of course)!
I made this several years ago and had completely forgotten about it.
Update! Found the recipe that I used. It’s a bit different, but produces similar results:
1. Pour 1 cup of white glue into a zip-top plastic bag (add your food coloring at this step if you are going to add it.
2. Mix 1/2 tsp. of borax with 1/3 cup warm water.
3. Slowly add to the white glue in the bag and gently knead until well mixed.
4. Drain any extra liquid.
